tuition about me translation tariff contact Tariffs Hourly tariff for tuition: £20 (see also below - 'Location') Quotes will be provided for all translation requests following assessment of source texts. Texts of general, non-technical nature: £100 per 1,000 words. Texts of technical or otherwise complex nature to be charged accordingly. Location I am happy to travel up to 12 miles from Iden Green, although it is possible that special arrangements can be made for visits involving greater distances. I charge 50p per mile. Customers requiring home visits anywhere within a 5-mile radius of my home will be asked to pay a standard £5 travel charge. Beyond 12 miles from Iden Green, lessons can be conducted online (via Skype). There will of course be no additional travel charge in the case of online lessons, which can be of 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes' duration. You are also welcome to have lessons at my home in Iden Green between 9am and 5pm. Cancellations Cancellations are costly and, as is the case with many other services, a fee is requested to offset losses (£10). This fee will be requested only if a lesson is cancelled on the day of the lesson itself or at any time during the preceding 3 days. If a replacement student is subsequently found, no fee will be requested.
